So this picture below pretty much captures how we were feeling for our 4th of July....
It rained the entire day, was in the upper 60's, and just made you want to stay in and watch a good movie.... and that's exactly what we did! (Jon may disagree with the good movie part!) It was such a bummer to have all of our 4th of July plans cancelled, but, we did celebrate on the 5th instead. Here are a few pictures from the weekend:

This is why we love our neighborhood! I would guess there were over 50 people (kids included) at our 4th of July block party in our cul-de- sac. One of the mom's put together a family game night and they had egg races, waterballoon tosses, watermelon seed spitting contetests, etc. It was so fun! Once it turned dark, they set off a bunch of fireworks and it was just a good way to redeem a not so fun 4th. We are going to miss this neighborhood!
