Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving belly- 29 weeks!
We had the joy of celebrating Thanksgiving with our family and dear friends Andy and Megan Huber, who drove up from Louisville on Wednesday evening. We always have such a fun and encouraging time with them and this trip was no different!! Thanks for coming guys!!

Jon's parents hosted a delicious meal with his grandparents and Aunt and Uncle and brother there as well. We never leave disappointed!!

Nolan ate like I've never seen before!! He loved the homemade noodles, lima beans, potatoes and jello salad!

Wrestling with his buddy Hadley
How precious is this!!!! They were playing hide and seek!
And the highlight of the day for Great Grandma was getting to snuggle with this sweet little guy!
And Great Grandpa had fun too! :)
A ride on the local pony
And this is what pregnancy brain will do to you. I definitely had this coat on inside out and had no idea until Megan pointed it out! :) This was also a highlight of the weekend! :)
It was a beautiful weekend so we took the kiddos for a run at the park. He's Jo and Nolan serving us at the drive-thru.

Then that evening we went to the Noblesville city lights and listened to the music. The kids ran wild but had a great time!
Sweet Joni
Not really sure what's going on here
That next day we put up the Christmas tree. I tried to remind myself throughout- this is fun! :) It's a little more stressful when you've got extra help- but it was a year to remember!

I love this little boy!
Ta Da!
I love you boys!
This was Nolan in front of the tree last year
And this year!
Something about a Momma and her boy!
And a final thanksgiving greeting!

Michigan Trip

A few weekends ago we went for a visit to Ann Arbor, MI to visit uncle Ryan and see where he is working so hard! He treated us to a great weekend and a great tour of the campus and city. We visited the farmers market and then we to the Hands On Museum. Nolan loved it!

An image a parents NEVER wants to see!!

We then took a brief tour of campus (it was pretty cold!) and got to see where Ryan's office is. We made a super quick (45 min!) trip to IKEA (and it was my first visit!). Then we ate the most amazing meal at Zingermans (a local favorite).

Nolan loves to play with his Pappy's I-phone. Great entertainment for the car ride!
Thanks for such a great visit Uncle Ryan!

And last but not least- a 28 Week belly pic of our sweet #2 to come!

Halloween 2011

This obviously isn't very Halloweenish- but was around the same time! :) By the way- the weekend of Thanksgiving, Nolan decided he was done with his pacifier! Praise the Lord! :) He cut himself off cold turkey and only occasionally asks about it but hasn't gone back!

We visited a new pumpkin patch that is super close to our house. It was muddy and cool, but Nolan had a great time!
This is for you Papa

He loved to sit on the pumpkins
Melt my heart!!

Pumpkins just his size!

And let the carving begin!

It looks like they are having a very serious conversation about this pumpkin!

Halloween morning we had a playdate/Halloween party at our house. All the kiddos got dressed up (for about 10 min!). We made cookies, had pizza and had a fun morning!

Nolan- the golfer!!
Kayden (the horse), Aleah (the lion), Nolan, Brooke (the monkey) and Avery (the chicken)

And Brady- adorable!

That afternoon we went to the courthouse (where Pappy works) and did some treat-or-treating with our friends. Nolan LOVED the idea of getting candy and was his normal social self!

Daddy was the caddy. I was supposed to be the golf ball but my costume didn't work out.

Jon and I were looking forward to scoring some candy bars and sweets but at every house, Nolan would pick a sucker! :)

The cutest little guy in the neighborhood!
