Christmas Post

Sorry I a way behind on this. I wanted to get some pictures up from Christmas to share with everyone what a blessed time we had. Based on the forecasts for Lincoln that week, we didn't think we were going to get to celebrate with anyone from our family but we were able to get everyone here and make it to Ogallala and we were soooo thankful! Jon's parents and brother flew in on the 23rd without too much difficulty and then we all drove to Ogallala on Christmas Eve morning. We attended our Christmas Eve service, which is my favorite part of Christmas, and got to see my dad sing- which was wonderful- the message from the song and his voice were just what I needed to be reminded of what we were really celebrating!

Pictures from Christmas Eve:

Izabel doesn't look too happy here but she had a wonderful time. Between picking on Ryan, carrying Miloh around, and just being her lovely self, she kept very busy.

Christmas morning:
Miloh- looks like he must have heard Santa
Izzie's face when she saw the tree and gifts- thrilled!
We got spoiled by everyone this year, as usual! Jon's parents blessed us with a video camera to start capturing all those baby moments
Mom & Dad Hughes- sorry I didn't get a picture of Mom and Dad Mays!
My parents got us our first baby outfit that I had pointed out at one point in time- so very special
I even got a little emotional- to just think something that tiny will be in my arms soon!
Izzie got a playdo factory and that kept her really busy!

Uncle Ryan snuggled up in Izabel's snuggy- giving her a hard time like she loves!

We had such a great weekend and just feel so thankful that our families enjoy spending time together so that we don't have to spend this time apart. We headed back to Lincoln on Sunday to get everyone to the airport. Here was what I-80 headed west looked like after being closed for a day:
A parking lot!

And last but not least- a few belly pictures

I had to work New Year's Eve and New Year's, so we didn't get to do much of anything. New Year's evening, Katie and Shane came and stayed with us on their way back to Iowa. We had so much fun- even if it was short! And.... I got in some much needed Emma time!
Emma exploring the apartment
Jon keeping the peace between two very spoiled puppies

Emma trying out my headband
The 3 girls- excuse the one on the right-
And the latest belly picture at 17 weeks

Hope you enjoyed!! Love you all- J&H
