I will finally be caught up on blogging after this post. Hooray! Here are a bunch of misc. pics from the past 3 weeks:
Happy B-day Jon! Boy is this late! Jon celebrated his b-day on Aug 25th and he got a Huskers shirt from me. It's come in handy. We've been blessed to have gotten tickets to 2 volleyball games already and plan to attend a couple football games too. Nebraska takes college ball seriously now! It's pretty fun!
My mom and Izabel came to visit us over the weekend of Jon's bay. It was also the weekend that Shane and Katie came to Lincoln and threw a birthday bash for Miss Emma who turned 1. Here is Izabel and I on our way to the party.

They had the party at this fun play place in Lincoln. It was such a good idea and the kids had a blast. Here is Izzie jumping into the big foam pit:

Later that day Izabel talked Jon into taking a swim at the apartment pool. It was freezing that evening but she didn't seem to mind one bit.

The following weekend my parents and Izzie came back for a visit. We went to the Farmers Market downtown and had a fun time shopping and taking in the festivities. This is one of those landscape pics- it turned out really neat:

We live on a golf course and get free golfing, so we have been taking advantage of this. We went twice last weekend as a family and had a really fun time:

And to end the fun weekend, we celebrated the boys bdays. We had such a fun weekend!
This weekend Jon and I have just spent some quality time together. We've been super lazy and loved it! We have been watching several movies and we did get in a golf game today. We are going to our first small group meeting tomorrow morning and are really looking forward to meeting some couples our age. We've got a bunch of things planned for several more weekends this month and next so we'll be posting again soon. Hope you enjoyed the pics. Love- J&H
