Jon and I went to the zoo this past weekend with his firm. They invited everyone out to meet each other's families and have fun. It was great to go for free and we had a good time! Here's some pics:

We also decided to try to clean up the weeds in our backyard. We didn't have any garden gloves, so I decided snowboarding gloves would do the job. Needless to say it was hot, but it looks much nicer back there now.
We're spending the 4th at home this year. We're driving a family friend in the parade tomorrow and then spending the evening at our neighborhood party with our small group friends. We're going to grill Omaha Steaks (thanks to mom and dad Mays) and just relax. It should be fun. We hope you all have a great Holiday! Miss you all!
